This figure presents a global Sea Surface Temperature (SST) dataset visualized using the Spilhaus projection, a conformal map that places the world's oceans at the center, emphasizing oceanic processes and large-scale circulation patterns.

The SST data is sourced from the Copernicus Marine Service, specifically from the following product:

  •    Product ID: SST_GLO_SST_L4_NRT_OBSERVATIONS_010_001
  •    Dataset ID: METOFFICE-GLO-SST-L4-NRT-OBS-SST-V2

This dataset provides near-real-time, high-resolution Level 4 SST observations, blending multiple satellite sources to achieve optimal accuracy.
