Physical oceanography is an engaging and visually striking discipline, but often counterintuitive. Understanding the complex dynamics of the ocean requires a combination of descriptive knowledge and analytical tools. This is why teaching in this field emphasizes not only observing and describing phenomena but also mastering the mathematics behind the governing equations. The goal? To foster a new intuition that connects theory with the dynamic ocean.
